On Tuesday, March 23, 2010, Meetings & Events Houston hosted their Spring Event at the Bell Tower on 34th Street. The event planned by Director of Distribution Cecile Ruffino was a success with 350 meeting planners and representatives of vendors in attendance to network and socialize with industry colleagues. Vendors were able to meet with planners on a face-to-face basis and discuss the issues facing the industry today. In addition, planners were able to meet contacts from Houston’s best venues and event service providers, giving them all the resources they need for a successful calendar year.

Catering was provided by Niko Niko’s, Eddie V’s, Gala Catering and Chocolate Fountain. The Bell Tower provided cocktails and complimentary wine. Gift bags, which had a $150 value, were given to the first 200 guests. Music and DJ services were made possible courtesy of Elegant Entertainment.

The event also showcased the national initiatives of Publishing Resources through the Houston resource guide’s sister publications in Las Vegas and Austin.
