ISES Meets Midnight at Malone's

Houston, Texas – April 23, 2009 – Innovation was key for the March 4, 2009 meeting of the International Special Events Society Houston Chapter (ISES). The event, presented by FROWbiz, sought the ISES members’ participation in an exciting “murder mystery comedy” dinner theater. Held in the lavish new nightclub, Bamboo Houston, the event transported guest to the fictional “Molone’s Speakeasy” where murder and mystery quickly ensued.
As ISES members mingled with each other, they encountered various players in “Malone’s Speakeasy.” Included in this cast of characters was the establishment’s owner Bugsy, his girlfriend Natash (a mysterious Russian film star), famed card man Fingers Grattare and Loch Ness. As dinner approached, screams were heard and the guest realized that a murder had occurred. They were now tasked with solving the mystery.
Guests were organized into teams which allowed ISES members to network in small groups of crime solving sleuths. “It was very interactive and fun,” said Nicole Alvarez, Director of Publication and Events for Meeting Planner Resources, LLC. Using the clues that they were given, guest worked at identifying the murderer and ultimately saving “Malone’s Speakeasy.”
