The Children's Museum of Houston: Events for the Young at Heart
Looking for an innovative venue that’s both engaging and educational for your event attendees? The Children’s Museum of Houston is an institution like no other in the Houston Museum District. It’s not just for children, but everyone who enjoys being a child at heart. With versatile meeting space with a creative edge, it’s the ideal location for corporate events designed to be as fun as they are productive.

The facility’s recent expansion and its all-new exhibits wow kids of all ages. It’s no surprise that parents and adults are also enthralled by what the Children’s Museum has to offer given its extensive roster of interactive activities. The number one reaction when families walk in is “Whoa!” when they see the three-story climbing tower in PowerPlay, and “Awesome!” when they walk into the giant Invention Convention lab with all of its moving parts. The Children’s Museum isn’t about stationary exhibits, but ever-changing, one-of-a-kind environments that are unlike anything guests have seen before.

It’s a great place to hold business meetings, seminars, staff appreciation parties, holiday celebrations and social events of all varieties. The Kid’s Hall and exhibition areas have a combined capacity of 2,500 guests, while the Brown Auditorium can seat groups of up to 164. The Duncan Family Conference Room has a theater-style seating capacity of 100 guests. With so many different areas available, planners can organize virtually any type of event regardless of size.

Winner of the 2009 Nickelodeon Parents Picks Best Museum in Houston, rated a 5-star nationwide children’s museum by Citysearch.com, voted Ultimate Kid-Friendly Attraction in a Houston Chronicle reader’s poll and tied for the nation’s best children’s museum in Child magazine, the Children’s Museum of Houston is dedicated to transforming communities through innovative, child-centered learning. It houses 14 new exhibit galleries of innovative bilingual learning programs for kids ages birth to 12 years.

Seven new, state-of-the-art exhibits further heighten the museum experience. New exhibits include:
